LUGANDA won the $50,000 Oaks International Grand Prix and placed in the L.A. National Grand Prix in 1997 and won the $15,000 Red, White and Blue Festival Derby in 1998. In 1996, he placed second in the Kern County and Memorial Day Classic Grand Prix and the Laidlaw Cup at Spruce Meadows, and also placed in seven other major national and international jumping competitions. In 1995, Luganda won the $7,500 Modified Jumper Stake at the Ranch and Coast Horse Show at Showpark, the PCHA/Jimmy Williams Futures at The Oaks Classic and Labor Day Classic at The Oaks and placed third in the PCHA/Jimmy Williams Futures Finals at The Oaks Classic. In 1994, Luganda won the $7,500 Preliminary Jumper Stake at the Oaks Fall Classic, was Champion Preliminary IV Jumper at the San Diego Summer Festival at Showpark and was Reserve Champion Preliminary Jumper at the Memorial Day Classic at Griffith Park.

Luganda`s son, La` Port Au Prince, competed in the Western International Jumper Futurity Finals for Four Year Olds in 2000 and placed well in Jumpers in 2001 and 2002. His son Latigo II was a 2001 Five Year old Jumper Classic winner and placed well in Six Year Old Classics in 2002.

Luganda is approved by the American Holsteiner Horse Association and is nominated for the International Jumper Futurity.
