McCartney`s Ziva - Buckskin Tobiano Gypsy Cob |
Ziva is one of the first two mares imported to Podolin with a plan to establish a Gypsy Cobs breeding. She came to us as an 8-month-old filly, stealing the heart of many visitors.
Her beautifully profiled small head with a clear eye undoubtedly attracts attention. Strong neck and back, deep and wide chest, apple-shape rump - all these features gathered in great proportions create a beautiful, heavy build with the charm of so-called "show quality cob".
Her beautiful buckskin coat is a great bonus.
Ziva is the sister (from the father`s side) of our young and future stallion Imperial Topaz and (from the mother`s side) to mare McCartney`s Bluebell. From both sides in her pedigree we can find many well-known and fundamental cobs, such as: The Lion King, Old Henrys Horse, The Road Sweeper, Old Coal Horse, Eddie Allock Black Horse, The Lob Eared Horse, Old Pat & Jim of San Cler.
In 2019 she gave us her first foal Podolin Candied Crystal - a powerful cremello colt, who is currently in Hungary. As our pupil, she found many of her fans. On a daily basis working as a school horse, she is a wonderful balanced mare suitable for both beginners and more advanced riders.
