One-eyed mare defies the odds giving birth to live twin foals
A one eyed mare located at Spurrs Stud at Wagin in Western Australia beat the odds of a one in 10,00 chance giving birth to a pair of stunning twin fillies. The two foals now named Snip & Drop were found in the field by stud owner Mr Spurr, both foals were very small and needed veterinary care to help them survive. The mother also required extra care help looking after these two stunning foals, because her limited vision with the previous loss of an eye after suffering an accident when she was younger.
