Matthew Sampson was born 2nd August 1990, based in Sheffield, he is leading showjumping rider who had a great deal of success in the showjumping arena with numerous horses. Matt Sampson showed himself to have an exciting future in the sport of showjumping from the early age, winning pony classes at the Horse of the Year Show and winning the European under 18 championships.
At 16 he spent two years in training with respected showjumping rider & trainer Duncan Inglis, before moving back home to Sheffield to run his own yard from his parents equestrian center. Among the first horses sent to Matthew to ride was his trainer Duncan Inglis`s Chianti Classico.
Horses competed by Matthew Sampson include Pits Daughter, Happy- Fomia, Ivory, Amarado, Arbitrage, Billy Carmen & Geneve R. Below you can watch Matt competing Geneve R in the world cup qualifier at the London International Horse Show.
