Tracy Priest

UK rider Tracy Priest is renowned for finding and producing fantastic young horses, and has an excellent record of producing them through the showjumping grades through to international level. Examples of this include Millfield Ultymate and Doma Sue both of which Tracy qualified for the Grade C final at HOYS. Another horse Tracy Priest produced from a young age is the German bred Calle with whom Tracy jumped in the young horse championships and went on to win grand prix including the Blue Chip grand prix. Another success in young horse classes is Grischunda with whom Tracy won the Grade B championships at the horse of the year show.

Tracey Newman

Having worked with horses for many years, including 12 years managing and producing horses for leading British show jumper John Whitaker, Tracey`s enthusiasm has never waned.

In 1995, Tracey left the Whitaker yard and quickly established one of her own 7 miles away in Bretton where she continued to ride some of John`s horses and started to attract other owners and clients.

Within two years Tracey was picked for her first British Nations Cup Team, at an event held in Prague. She jumped Clear and 8 fault rounds for the team and was then 4th in the World Cup Qualifier. Tracey has been consistently competing at that top level ever since.

Winning the Nations Cup in Bratislava, Tracey jumped one of the three double clear rounds that day. In the same year she also became the National Ladies champion on Paradis, a horse she produced from a 5 year old.

Tracey relocated to Lancashire in 2000, kicking off the year with a successful trip to Spruce Meadows. On her return Tracey began the redevelopment of the new yard which would become an established training base for herself and her ever-growing client list.

As an established member on both the national and international circuits, Tracey also provides professional training for horses and riders. Aimed specifically at medium to advanced competency levels, Tracey has the skill and experience to make you a better and more confident rider.

Recent years have seen Tracey use her much sought-after experience to source and develop horses for her clients.

Tracey prides herself on keeping training and management simple and uncomplicated. Ask Tracey to help you achieve your potential!

Below you can watch Tracy Newman in action riding her AES stallion Challenge at Keywose International.

Training With Tracey Newman
Why do the best sportspeople have coaches and personal trainers? Because they each want to be better and achieve their goals. No two people are the same and for this reason Tracey offers a varied selection of training types. It could be an individual lesson, group session, or residential training break which may spur you on to your next target. However, you may simply need some advice, help planning shows or some impartial yet friendly expertise? Whatever your target for you and your horse, Tracey and the team can help you achieve and exceed your goals!

Individual Training Sessions

One to one training sessions in which you will work closely with Tracey to improve your riding. Areas of work include: All-round development, Jump technique, Ride position, Horse experience and most importantly Confidence!

Session duration approx 45 mins. Group Training Sessions

Pair up with a friend or two and benefit from the advice given to you both. Group work is beneficial for those who are a little shy and want a nice relaxed entry into professional equestrian training.

Session duration approx 1 hour. Residential Training
Come and stay with your horse! We have on-site facilities to ensure that your stay is comfortable for you and your horse. The yard features a separate stable block with wash-box and tackroom. As a welcome alternative to sleeping in your horsebox, you can relax in our on-site accommodation with breakfast provided.

You can tailor your training break to suit you, from a simple overnight stay to several days which can see significant improvement in your riding ability.
B It is also possible to arrange residential training to coincide with a show or event. This will enable you to benefit from Tracey`s advice when course walking, help in the collecting ring plus thorough evaluation and advice afterwards.
B NB. Evening meals are optional.

For more details regarding training, please contact our team on 07939 205755.
