Queens have always been a huge part of the Queens life and it is fitting that horses played a vital part of the final goodbye during the Queen`s funeral procession. Leading the procession from Westminster Abbey to Hyde Park was the Welsh shire horse Ed, officially named Major Apollo by the Queen.
Major Apollo from Pembrokeshire-based Dyfed Shire Horse Farm and first participated in the procession during the Platinum Jubilee Royal Windsor Show.
