Lingh

Lingh is the fantastic international Grand Prix stallion recently ridden by Edward Gal, pupil of Anky van Grunsven, and sold in November 2006 to the USA. Lingh is currently ranked the number 3 dressage horse in the world for 2005 by the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses.

Lingh is by the preferent stallion Flemmingh who has sired numerous top dressage horses, and his dam line has also produced several Grand Prix winners.

Lingh was the Dutch Dressage Champion in 2004 and winner of the World Cup Qualifier in Amsterdam in 2005. He earned a place on the Dutch Olympic team for Athens but was unable to go due to a slight injury 2 days before departure.

Lingh quickly returned to competition and finished second in the World Cup competition in Las Vegas 2005. He was a crowd favourite and earned 9`s across the board on his pirouette and a 10 for his piaffe. He scored 78.625% which was a new Dutch record and went on to score 85.225% for his Kur.

Lingh is known for his fabulous movement, elasticity, rideability and temperament. He has recently been approved by the KWPN and his first crop of foals are following in their sire`s footsteps.
