Checkmate

Meredith Michaels Beerbaum began riding Checkmate in 2001 as a six year old, a feisty horse known to love a little buck Meredith Beerbaum would end up channelling this attitude making Checkmate one of the best horses in the world. Together the pair would win numerous grand prix`s as well as representing Germany at many major championships, including European team gold, European individual bronze and team gold at the 2010 world equestrian games. Over the course of Checkmate`s jumping career, he won 262,225 euros on the GCT.

Checkmate is a son on Contender out of a Pik Bube II mare
