Calista (2006)
Calista is a young British bred Hanoverian mare by the great Contendro. She is a wonderful example f the modern type of Hanoverian with a huge trot and tremendous elevation. Her pedigree boasts a huge number of prolific jumping horses including Contender, Calypso 11 and Cor de la Bryere on the sire side as well as Escudo 1 and Lanthan on the dam line as well as State Premium mares and dressage lines as well.
Although a solid brown, Cally will always produced coloured offspring when bred to our resident Knabstrupper stallion Nobody�s Harlequin. Her type, conformation and paces are the ideal compliment to his and she was bought with this purpose in mind to produce what we think will be a very exciting performance prospect in 2010.
