U2 is descended from the world famous Grand Prix dressage stallion Welcome, who won a series of top performances under Isabell Werth. Mother Doris Day was also successful in the dressage sport in the Z2 class. Grandmother Finetta (Gepard) jumped at S-level (1.40) in Germany under the name Fleurop. The mother line goes back via Furioso II, Pik As xx and Goldfalk (Goldfisch II) to an originally Hanoverian family. The approved stallion Acapulco (Akzent II) also comes from this line.
