Bradford

Although Bradford is often referred to as Richards second horse, he comfortably slides into the first slot when he is called upon to do so. A case in point was the 2003 World Cup Finals in Las Vegas. Bradford held his own in top international competition and made it all the way to the final round. He jumped two incredible rounds having only four faults in each. Unfortunately, he had one unlucky round on Sunday with twelve faults and that kept him out of the Ribbons.

Bradford is a 12 year old Thoroughbred Gelding, owned by Dave and Tracy Kenly of Phoenix Arizona, who began his career as an amateur jumper with Tracy. After rising through the ranks of the amateur division., Dave and Tracy decided to try his hooves in the Grand Prix ring with Richard at the reins.

The Kenly`s already had one Grand Prix horse piloted by Richard (Kirk), and they were sure that Bradford would make a wonderful addition to his string. They were right!

Bradford has won four Grand Prix and has become an exceptional speed horse in the International speed competitions. Placing second in the Pepsi challenge speed class at Spruce Meadows.

He is incredibly fast, and has the heart of a winner. Richard Says "It is always fun to win the big classes on a Bradford, because there are so few Thoroughbreds being ridden in the International divisions. For speed and heart they can`t be beat."
