Anti racism demonstration turns violent as protesters clash with Police and their horses
What started as a peaceful protest for the black lives mater movement, escalated in to violence between police and protesters, horses are being used by American and British police forces for crowd control.
On the Prime Ministers doorstep, Police came under attack from protesters, that resulted in a mounted charge to push them back, one officer was knocked from their horse and is believed to have suffered injuries but expected to make a full recovery. Below you can see the horse charge a slow trot to move the protesters back.
Once the charge had been carried out the Metropolitan mounted police found themselves surrounded with bottles and bikes being thrown at them and their horses.
In the USA a horse named Cash a member of the Dallas mounted police and suffered injury when struck on the nose, when hit by a brick. Dallas have posted an update on Cash which has had huge support.
